Gardein Ground Be'f Review

Gardein’s Ground Be’f is a vegan, gluten free, dairy free, and kosher beef substitute made mainly of textured soy protein concentrate, water, and natural flavoring. It has a crumbly, chewy texture that combines well with other ingredients, and a mild, meaty flavor that makes it perfect for things like pasta sauce, tacos, meat loaf, nachos, or shepherd’s pie.

Our favorite dish to use these crumbles in is tacos. We heat up some oil in a pan and throw the crumbles in to brown them. Then, we add our favorite taco seasoning to the pan with a little water and let it simmer for a couple of minutes until it’s the texture we want. Serve with your favorite shells and toppings!
